Munich Fabric Start 2024

Textile innovation: Denim × 3D Print

Created for Munich Fabric Start 2024, this outfit explores the possibilities of 3D printing on denim — merging digital precision with organic inspiration. Developed for the Keyhouse/Bluezone showcase, the project pushes the boundaries of functional fashion.

At the core of the project is the PolyJet J850 TechStyle printer, which enables intricate, multi-color, multi-material designs in a single print step. This method allows for bespoke surface structures that are both visually expressive and technically functional — transforming denim into a platform for layered, future-oriented design.

The 3D elements take visual cues from natural forms like bark, moss, and eroded stone. The use of green and blue references balance, growth, and the connection between nature and progress — reflecting a vision of sustainable, adaptive fashion that is as tactile as it is conceptual.
